ACFH - Acceptance Change for Health

The Senah Consultancy is currently partnered with ACFH working on projects in Somaliland, Kenya, Sudan, Ethiopia, and Rwanda. The focus of the current work spans 3 critical areas:

• Expansion of the non-profit and roadmapping to allow for additional training of mental health professionals across East Africa, increasing mental health service availability and decreasing disease burden.

• Conducting research examining the efficacy of DBT combined with MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD and depression constellation symptoms in an affected population in Hargeisa, Somaliland (the first psychedelic assisted-therapy research of its kind in Africa).

• Lobbying governments to allow and advocate for psychedelic assisted therapy in Africa through local-led initiatives.
